" A little bit about me, born and raised in Carrier Mills, when I was 11 I was raped by an older guy in his 20s and that changed me forever. From that point on I gave my body up to older men repeatedly. Once I graduated high school I met a man who was 26, he told me he loved me and he'd take care of me, I married him in 3 weeks. I left town and everything I knew to be with him and he completely isolated me from family and friends, got me addicted to ecstasy, and beat me everyday for nearly the next 2 years. He held knives to my throat while taking advantage of me, he choked me unconscious and urinated on me multiple times, ran me over with my car, left me stranded in a corn field overnight, there's a lot that I overcame and eventually I left. I completely started over but the trauma continued. I met my daughter's dad 4 months later and he left once I got pregnant. So now I have nothing and I'm pregnant. I lived with my parents for a couple months until I got into a housing apartment in Carrier Mills, I lived there for 5 years while I got on my feet. But the trauma from my childhood still affects my adulthood, I had another baby by a man 21 years my senior, another baby by another man who's in his 40s as well, and I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant with my 4th. I have became an independent single mother of 4 in a matter of 6 years and it didn't happen without tears, prayers, losing my mind, substances, and eventually finding my way back to the Lord. I've been on a spiritual journey for about a year now and ever since then I have been extremely blessed and highly favored. I feel like any young girl in her late teens or early 20s could really benefit from hearing my story and my testimony."
